Critical Thinking Skill

According to Michigan State University, we use critical thinking skills every day. They help us to make good decisions, understand the consequences of our actions and solve problems.

These incredibly important skills are used in everything from putting together puzzles to mapping out the best route to work. It’s the process of using focus and self-control to solve problems and set and follow through on goals.

It utilizes other important life skills like making connections, perspective taking and communicating.
Basically, critical thinking helps us make good, sound decisions.

Students who study art are four times more likely to be recognized for academic achievement and three times more likely to be awarded for school attendance.

Build Confidence

Did you know: How your child feels about their appearance can directly affect their self-confidence?

According to reachout.com teenagers are confronted with a variety of tough issues, and learning how to deal with them can test their confidence.

Tough issues range from dealing with changes to their physical appearance to being accepted in friendship groups.

This is then reflected in how they behave in public, how well they perform in school and other areas of their life, and family expectations.

By becoming more accepting of themselves, teenagers become better equipped to deal with hurtful things that may damage their self-confidence.

Hello Campers and Parents

You may have already heard that Governor Whitmer rescinded the stay at home order and allowed day camps to open June 8th!

We know how important these camps are to your kiddos and are committed to providing a fun experience while following state guidelines to ensure the safety of all campers.

    • National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences Covid-19 Response Training
    • Milady Infection Control Certification
    • Barbicide Standard Certification
    • Lucas-Cide Safe Space Certification
  • Sanitation Stations are in all communal areas and every classroom to ensure health grade sanitation. These Sanitation Stations include:
